Volunteer Sports Leader Award

Metropolis at Metrotown and KidSport thank everyone who participated in the Volunteer Sports Leader Contest. We received numerous nominations and received thousands of votes. All of the nominees are outstanding volunteers - coaches, officials, mentors and administrators -- who have dedicated themselves to amateur community sports throughout the Lower Mainland.

KidSport is a proud supporter of the Volunteer Sports Leader Awards. By giving financially disabled youth the opportunity to play sports, they make a big difference in the lives of young athletes. Want to get involved? Click here.

At an event held on February 17 the winners were announced:

• People’s choice grand prize winner Lewis Chifan
• People’s choice runner up Nelson Yu
• Judge’s choice grand prize winner Neil McLennan
• Judge’s choice runners up Alison Everett and Sharon Sylva

Environmental Explorers Award
