Join your community in electing one Mayor, eight Councillors and seven School Trustees for a four year term. Elected officials make decisions which directly affect your everyday life: from the parks where you play with your family, to the bike paths you use on your daily commute, to the schools where your children learn and the city centres where you shop and socialize.
Vote at Metropolis
It’s easy and convenient! You can vote at any of the 34 voting locations throughout Burnaby – including right here at Metropolis! A voting station will be set up near the Old Navy for the Burnaby Local Government Election on October 20.  If you can’t make that date, there are three advance voting dates at this location to choose from: October 6, 10 and 13.
Who can vote?
Burnaby residents, who are: 18 years or older on Election Day; Canadian citizen; resident of British Columbia for at least six months before the day of registration or on the voting day; resident of Burnaby for at least 30 days before the day of registration or on the voting day; and not disqualified from voting by any statute or law.
