To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday, from June 12 – July 3, Metropolis at Metrotown will be hosting Canadian Compass: Adventures in Every Direction. Experience a unique, interactive virtual reality 360° exhibit that takes you on adventures through Canada. This free exhibit is open to the general public daily 12pm-7pm.* 

Metropolis at Metrotown is also proud to kick off the 3-week celebration with an official Canadian Citizenship Ceremony on June 12th in Grand Court. 

There will be plenty of selfie opportunities of Canada's iconic landscapes, and even a chance to print out your digital photos on the spot at our photo booth, with proceeds being donated to Burnaby Community Services 

The Metropolis Express train will be taking children and parents around the Lower Level and handing out giveaways throughout the 3-week celebration. Children age 12 and under ride free. Adults $1, with all proceeds being donated to Burnaby charities.

Don’t forget to drop by our contest kiosks to enter for a chance to win a grand prize $1,000 shopping spree, or a weekly prize of a $250 Metropolis at Metrotown gift card.

* This exhibit is open to everyone ages 8+. Any children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the VR 360 exhibit.
