Blossom at Metropolis

Mar 05 - Mar 31

Celebrate the start of Spring with an exciting new art installation at Metropolis at Metrotown!

Blossom at Metropolis at Metrotown takes place March 5-31, 2019 and brings the beautiful cherry blossoms indoors for a month-long installation in Grand Court. Stop by and take some photos of this unique one of a kind cherry blossom experience created by Vancouver creative arts studio Hfour.

Enjoy weekday evening performances and workshops by Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre on Tuesdays & Thursdays including hands-on arts & crafts to make your own sakura artwork, learn to play Japanese chess, or learn to dance a traditional Japanese dance. Sign up for a Workshop Wednesday class with MUJI to learn how to make your own origami sakura blossom or to learn the modern art of brush calligraphy.

Visit Grand Court and enter for a chance to win a $1000 shopping spree daily!
Also don't forget to share your photos and videos of your visit using #METBlossom and @metropolisatmet for a chance to win a weekly Blossom prize package or the grand prize $500 Metropolis at Metrotown gift card.
