Located on the Upper Level near Claire's or on the Ground Level near the Bank of Montreal, you can stop by either of our two Customer Service Centres in person, or call 604-438-4715.

Stroller Rentals

We now offer Smarte Carte tablet-enabled strollers for rent.  The new strollers are located at Upper Level Central Boulevard entrance, Ground Level near Sport Chek, Ground Level Superstore entrance and Ground Level near Disney & Shaw.

Free Wheelchair/Walker Loans

For those who have difficulty walking for long periods of time, we can provide free wheelchair and walker loans. All you need is to do is visit Customer Service and present valid government-issued photo ID.

Free EV Charging Stations

Six Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are located in the P1 Parkade below Atrium Court and available free of charge from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Gift Wrap Service

Perfect, professional and inexpensive.

ATM Machines

CIBC, Scotiabank, Bank of Montreal and other machines available.

Lockers

Cost is $1.00 for the day. Please note that lockers are cleaned out each evening as they are not meant to be used for long-term storage.  The lockers are located in the Food Court by Burger King.

Taxi Station

The Taxi Station is located outside the Superstore entrance. Customers can also contact taxis through the Customer Service Centre located on the Ground Level.

Tourist Information Booth

The Tourist Information Booth is in operation from May to September and is run by the City of Burnaby.  It is located beside the Food Court on the Upper Level.

Metropolis Express

Train runs on the Lower Level, boarding at the Grand Court Elevators, and loops around T&T Supermarket and Toys R Us. Passengers must disembark and reboard at the end of each route, minimum $1 donation per person, per one way. Line cuts off 30 minutes before closing.

Frequently Asked Questions

News crews can gain access and approval to be on site by calling 604.438.4700.  At no time can a camera crew film inside any stores or restaurants without prior consent from the store or restaurant manager. Requests by students/special projects will be evaluated on an individual basis. Please submit a written request: [email protected]

At this time, the only animals allowed inside the mall are service dogs.

If you are interested in leasing space at Metropolis at Metrotown please contact the Specialty Leasing department at 604.438.4700.

If you think you may have lost something at Metropolis at Metrotown, please contact our Customer Service Centre at 604.438.4715. Retailers may have their own lost and found, so please contact them directly if you were shopping in their stores.

Certain areas of the parking used to access Metropolis at Metrotown are owned by Concord Pacific and managed by Westpark.  Effective May 1, 2019, the EAST surface East Parking along Kingsway between Sussex and Nelson will offer two hours of free parking, with required licence plate registration, followed by paid parking for durations longer than two hours. There will be signage and pay stations present in these areas.  Metropolis at Metrotown and Ivanhoé Cambridge have no authority over this parking. 

The remaining 6,000+ parking spots* for Metropolis at Metrotown shoppers remains available as free customer parking with a four-hour limit, and no registration required.

*There is a small portion of our underground parkade that is for Metrotower 3 paid visitor parking.  This area is in the P2 yellow section, underneath Sport Chek & Zara.  This area has dark blue signage indicating that it’s paid parking.

Metropolis at Metrotown does not allow posters to be posted or handed out in our centre. If you have an event that you would like to publicize, please email the information to [email protected] and, if appropriate, we will post the information on our website under the events section.

Metropolis at Metrotown does provide in-kind donations to charities. We receive a high volume of requests each week and as such we are not always able to make a donation. Metropolis at Metrotown focuses on youth, the environment, arts and culture.
We will not provide an in-kind donation to:

  • religious or sectarian organizations (except where they represent non-denominational community and social support services)
  • political organizations and candidates, individuals and for-profit organizations
  • competitive sports teams
  • advocacy or special interest groups
  • goodwill advertising, travel expenses, field trips, tours, ticket purchases, retroactive requests, conferences, seminars, workshops, beauty pageants, funding for individuals, or events and activities that take place outside of Canada

In addition, Metropolis at Metrotown does not provide discounts on gift card purchases.
